This weekend it really feels summery, its getting hotter by the day now.
Days are getting lazier, trips to the beach for a cooling swim are obligatory, cold drinks instead of hot ones, sand everywhere, sun screen everywhere, swinging in hammocks, sun hats and flowing airy clothes and thats about it.
At the same time things are beginning to get rather Christmassy too. I’ve been making decorations and buying presents (only a few this year), everyone else is shopping too, car parks are filling up, bustle bustle bustle, twinkly lights, party party party. This week we’re heading back to Perth to see my Steves colleagues for a Christmas party, on a boat, bling is essential requirement, outfit almost sorted  reinventing my LBD as given up trying to find something new here, nightmare.
So 5 days in Perth then fly home, pick up George, one more week of work for Steve then he’s off. Then I’ll decorate the house full of twinkly lights and Christmassy things. Mid December my Steve has a meeting to go to so I’m tagging along all being well for a few days in Darwin to check out the crocs the fish and the heat.
My Steve took some fantastic photos this weekend.
This one sums things up at the moment.

Get me a croc Mel.
Ha ha I’ll see what I can do!
