This morning I wasn’t having any of that malarky I had yesterday so I headed for some beauty at the beach and boy did we get it, it was stunning.

I managed to drive there ok, its only a 20 minute drive to a dog friendly beach which is fairly quiet. I’m still getting used to the way lanes merge with little warning and horrible %$£@^& men who don’t want to let you in, racing next to me as I’m about to merge ^%&*()ers!

Anyway we arrived at the beach in one piece in our lovely shiny and clean Jeep feeling rather happy with ourselves.

Here are the photos I took, rather blindly with my iPhone (I can’t see the screen at all in the sun) using the Camera+ app which I just installed, I think it struggled with the light to be honest as some shots are super bright and some a tad dark.

We will be going here much more in the future.

Most days I walk into the local village with George, say hello to some locals, some locals tell George he should be at the airport sniffing out for food for Quarantine and most days I think “shall I stop for a coffee?” and sometimes I do and sometimes I just have some water and carry on

Yesterday when the malarky happened, I fancied a coffee so I tied George up near a local cafe, went inside and ordered my coffee. I came back out and untied George from the post and made him sit next to me. Then one of the staff came out and told me that dogs weren’t allowed in the cafe, thats within the OUTDOOR area, within the posts marking the cafe.

He said, “you could move your chair outside the cafe area to sit with your dog” what on my own and look like a loony, like a child sitting in the corner for being naughty, for being the new local person who happened to choose the WRONG cafe that day?

NO THANKS I’ll carry on walking with my coffee.

Oh take away, that will be $4 then? WTF, and I paid? Why?

I should have told them my dog was way more polite than they were and I’d go to another cafe.

More blogs coming from me soon on making banana bread the Aussie way, some house tidying and cleaning for the joys of renting a property here and another inspection day.
