Our new village is soon to be a place called Buderim, heard of it before?

Well I hadn’t but I have tasted it’s produce, recognise this?

Sometime before the first World war, some pieces of raw ginger made their way to Australia and in particular roughly 100km north of Brisbane, in a small place called Buderim.

5 Buderim farmers got together and started the cooperative business called ‘Buderim ginger” after they had started to grow the ginger, by the 1990′s they were supplying their produce all across the world.

I love ginger, ginger beer, stem ginger, ginger and dark chocolates or biscuits, its sweet and zingy and yummy. I shall be visiting the factory when we get there and stocking up.
