I received my Orla Keily pattern book yesterday, I read the intro and 1st chapter last night and it was weird some of it read like my own, her growing up experiences are very similar to mine, except she now has a very successful business and a strong brand.
It’s so inspiring, it really is making me think about all sorts, giving me ideas of how to make and design things I love.
I’m so looking forward to reading more tonight.

I love it when a book changes things for you and inspires you. I am currently reading ‘risotto with nettles’ it is a memoir by anna del conte about her life and is all about food – it is inspiring for me because of the cook book, which i am trying to start up again now – although it is hard with little Lucas – but now that I have him I am almost even more determined to finish the cookbook as it will hopefully be something to inspire him in the future!

It’s a great book, I will post pictures tomorrow as I have a day off, I posted one earlier but it came out upside down for some reason. Get it from Amazon it’s a good price, the book is heavy and feels like one of my mums old house decorating books from the 70′s, i remember how the cover felt like rough fabric. Anyway, I’m off to reply to your email now xx
